MADRID MEETING POINT

The Spanish Society of Prison Health is pleased to host its 1st International Congress in Madrid in november 2012.

This congress is intended to be a true meeting point for healthcare professionals worldwide with an interest in prison health, whether they come from the correctional healthcare field itself or the healthcare community at large: a knowledge hub of shorts where we can all share valuable experience and scientific insight related to our daily work.

Local and international experts will present their latest work on issues regarding the most common diseases in prison. In addition, a number of dedicated guidelines and workshops will provide an opportunity to learn and exchange views on key aspects of prison healthcare practice.

Madrid is a world-class reference for art, culture, fashion, food and nightlife, it remains loyal to its traditions while embracing the latest trends and making them its own. Participants in the event are encouraged not to miss out on some of Madrid’s greatest attractions, which range from a visit to one of the largest art museums in the world, to the opportunity of indulging in some o f the city’s top shopping or the treat of enjoying a glass of one of the countless fine wines Spain is so famous for at one of the local bars.
